Distinction Whangarei Hotel & Conference Centre

The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were quite comfy. Good location, only a short drive into the main shopping village and all it had to offer.

We liked the location close to town. Any staff we spoke to were very polite, kind and helpful. The room was good but the curtains were not great, and the view out the window was not good, and at least the lawns could have been mowed! Otherwise everything was good.

Great location central to city and eating places. We had booked a double room for 3 people and were pleasantly surprised they put us in a triple room. Beds were lovely and comfy room was spacious with lots of storage and a bath!!

- Large room - Tidy and cozy - Restaurant service and food very nice - Improvements seen Stayed here quite a few times over years , totally enjoyed our stay this time , Room has everything in its place, power plugs in easy location, TV is abit dated but has good range of Sky channels , Bathroom is great with spa bath and shower. Restaurant Staff were exceptional , very helpful and kind , Restaurant manager bought baby chair out to us for our 1 year old and she specially cleaned it in front of us with wet wipes and wiped Olivia's hands to reduce risks very thoughtful and appreciated , food was very nice and larger then expected servings. Parking good Reception lady on Sunday morning very nice and helpful, asked if they could allow late checkout I was expecting til 11am and she offered til 12pm lunch time Very nice allowed me to rest

Hotel is very well located with view across the Boat Harbour and short walk to the new Hundertwasser Art Centre which was the main reason for our visit to Whangarei. Also close to a number of good restaurants. Room large and comfortable and continental breakfast at Hotel was excellent.
